Ascend (AscendPoints) finds and shows award options that we can see on a capture — seats.aero cached Aeroplan inventory when the Partner API is connected, or the award page you opened in Chrome. That is the whole job.

We do not guarantee a booking

We never ticket. We never hold a seat. Air Canada (or the operating carrier) decides whether a booking completes. Inventory, taxes, mixed cabin, and schedule can change between the moment we show a row and the moment you click Buy.

We do not guarantee savings

A partner option that looks cheaper or a better cabin on this capture may be gone a minute later. Dated proof on the homepage is a real past search, labeled with its source date — not a typical result and not a promise. When Air Canada is already the right buy, we say Book Air Canada.

Airline inventory changes

Award space is not a published fare you can “lock.” United awards on Aeroplan can move. If live Exact is unavailable, we fail closed. We will not invent an award to make the product look useful.

Independence
